Delivery & Returns Policy – Yumi Clothing

📦 How to Return an Online Order

🇬🇧 UK Mainland Returns

To start a return:

  1. Visit our online returns portal

  2. Enter your order number and email address

  3. Choose one of the following options:

    • Exchange (different size or colour) — FREE

    • Return for store credit (we add extra 15% of the amount spent)

    • Return for a refund

Once confirmed:

  • A prepaid returns label will be generated and emailed to you

  • Securely re-package your item(s)

  • Drop the parcel off at your local Post Office

  • Please keep your proof of postage

🔄 Exchanges (UK Mainland)

  • Exchanges are completely free

  • No return fee

  • No additional delivery charge for sending your replacement item

  • Available for size or colour changes only

  • Subject to stock availability

This is our recommended option if you’d like a different fit or colour.

⏰ Returns Timeframe

  • Returns must be sent back within 14 days of receiving your order

💷 Refund Deductions (UK Online Orders)

If you choose a refund, the following will be deducted from your total refund amount:

  • Original outbound delivery cost

    • £3.95 (Standard Delivery)

    • £4.95 (Next Working Day Delivery)

  • £2.50 return handling & repackaging fee

No deductions apply if:

  • The item is faulty

  • The item received is incorrect

In these cases, original delivery charges will also be refunded in full.

🌍 International Returns (Outside UK Mainland)

  • We do not offer free international returns or exchanges

  • Customers are responsible for return postage costs

  • Original shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable, unless the item is faulty or incorrect

🛍️ In-Store Returns

  • Items purchased in-store must be returned in-store

  • Returns must be made within 28 days of purchase

  • Online orders cannot be returned in-store

💳 Refund Processing Times

  • UK refunds: up to 10 working days

  • International refunds: up to 15 working days

Refunds are processed to the original payment method.

❗ Important Return Conditions

  • Items must be:

    • Unworn

    • In original condition

    • With all tags attached

  • For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on pierced earrings

  • If return documentation is missing, a Yumi store credit may be issued instead of a refund

🚚 Delivery Information

We aim to dispatch orders promptly. Please allow extra time during peak periods or bank holidays.

🇬🇧 UK Delivery (Royal Mail)

  • Free delivery on orders over £100

  • Standard Delivery (3–5 working days): £3.95

  • Premium Next Working Day: £4.95 (order by 3pm, Mon–Thu)

Premium delivery excludes weekends, bank holidays, Northern Ireland, and some areas of Scotland. Orders placed after 3pm will be sent via standard delivery.

🇮🇪 Ireland

  • Free delivery on orders over €150

  • Standard (3–7 working days): €8

  • Express (2–5 working days): €12

  • Free delivery on orders over $150

  • Standard (3–7 working days): $10

  • Duties & taxes included

🇦🇺 Australia

  • Free delivery on orders over $145 AUD

  • Standard (3–7 working days): $20
